What is go-digital?

A support program for SMEs: consulting and implementing IT security, digital business processes and digital market development. Funding is provided as a grant to the costs of consulting and implementation.

= Requirements

Enterprises based in Germany, up to 100 employees (or by programme tender). The exact criteria are in the current directive – always check the official tender.

Funding amount and application

The grant is typically 50% of eligible expenditure, more in certain regions. applications are submitted via approved partners (consultants, translators); the applicant is the company, the partner submits.

Modul 1 – Digital Business Processes: Supports e.g. the introduction of ERP systems, the digitization of document management, the automation of workflows and the introduction of collaboration tools. Concrete examples: A craft enterprise introduces an ERP for offer, order and invoice; a service provider digitizes the time recording and project accounting; a small dealer automates order processing with suppliers.

Modul 2 – Digital Market Development: Supports e.g. the construction of online shops, the development of online marketing strategies, the introduction of CRM systems and social media strategies. Examples: A B2B provider builds a shop with customer login and catalog care; a local service provider introduces CRM and email marketing; a craftsman optimizes his website and search engine-oriented content.

Module 3 – IT Security: Supports the implementation of firewalls, penetration tests, the introduction of backup strategies and employee training for IT security. Examples: an SME will review its networks and applications and implement the recommendations; an office introduces a structured backup and emergency concept; Training sensitize employees for phishing and secure passwords.

Can I apply for several modules simultaneously? Yes, the modules can be combined. Funding per module and ceilings are defined in the Funding Directive.

How long does approval last? Usually several weeks. Plan the start of the project only after approval, provided that the directive does not allow an advance.

I need to go in advance? This depends on the specific call for proposals. Often paid after proof of use. We will be happy to advise you on expiry and deadlines.

Can I choose the consultant free? Yes, you choose an approved consultant or provider. The list and conditions can be found at the conveyor (e.g. BMWi / go-digital).

What happens if my request is rejected? You get a reason. Often requests for further improvement can be submitted again. We support you in the application and in communication with the sponsor.
