The Challenge
Safe, comfortable heating
Modern stoves and inserts rely on regulated combustion air: electronics must reflect states reliably, keep parameters accessible for professional installers, and stay understandable for end users. LEDATRONIC WiFi connects the controller in the building—the mobile app should bundle all functions and information clearly, without vague status displays that drive support load. Additional components such as the LUC2 negative pressure controller, KS04 complete station, or ZAE central connection unit must be recognised after installation and represented in the UI so operation and service share the same picture.
Technology: Wi‑Fi, platforms, updates
An app for the stove environment must run on everyday phones and tablets, align with Apple and Google requirements for control-related apps, and stay maintainable via store updates. Wi‑Fi coverage, router settings, and device generations should not break the user flow; releases must remain traceable when firmware or combustion-air logic changes. The project benefits from short distances between the development team and the client—both in Leer, East Frisia.

LEDATRONIC app for iOS and Android
We implemented the LEDATRONIC app for iOS and Android: a clear presentation of information and functions for the LEDATRONIC WiFi combustion air control on LEDA stoves, heating inserts, and fireplace inserts—oriented toward both professional installers and household use. When further LEDA components are connected to LEDATRONIC WiFi, they are initialised and shown automatically—e.g. LUC2, KS04, or ZAE—so the full system remains traceable in the app. Distribution is via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

LEDA Werk GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures in Leer; Groenewold IT Solutions supports the mobile software with direct communication on requirements, test feedback, and releases. When store rules or platform versions change, we can plan adjustments in a structured way—so stove owners keep a dependable app and trade professionals retain the settings they need.
