Trading millions of SKUs across manufacturers

Industrial component trading combines complex master data, availability across channels, and different roles (end customer, dealer, internal processing). Users expect searchable catalogues across manufacturers and part types, transparent conditions for new and used stock, and traceable order status—without admin and storefront slowing each other down.

One system for web, back office, and mobile

Technical buyers work both at desks and on the move: the portal must be dependable on desktop, mobile apps must mirror the same business rules, and the backend must avoid duplicated data. Changes to articles, pricing, or customer accounts should propagate centrally—from inquiry to invoice—so support and sales are not stuck switching between isolated tools.

Laravel backend, Vue.js front end, app integration

We delivered an end-to-end system on Laravel and Vue.js: the web UI talks to the backend through defined interfaces; administrative areas cover article management, customer master data, order processing, and invoicing. MySQL stores the B2B depth; REST APIs feed native iOS and Android apps with the same rules as the portal—shared validation and shared business logic.

CSI Stuttgart is rooted in industrial electronics trading in Baden-Württemberg; Groenewold IT Solutions builds the platform from Leer in East Frisia. Collaboration runs remotely with structured releases, clear interfaces, and direct alignment on domain questions—from search and listing behaviour to back-office workflows. That keeps the solution maintainable and extensible without diverging data between development and operations.

Buyers and dealers share one digital ecosystem: search and article information connect to order and document flows; internal teams maintain master data and cases in one place. Native apps complement the web portal for typical mobile tasks—without detached processes. For Groenewold IT Solutions, the project showcases B2B e-commerce with a strong backend and API scope alongside classic app delivery.

The platform is designed for multi-year use: new requirements for catalogue logic, pricing, or integrations can be extended in the Laravel stack; web and apps can evolve iteratively. For a marketplace with many attributes and roles, separation pays off: the Laravel backend encapsulates rules, permissions, and persistence, while Vue.js delivers UIs for fast capture and overview. Business logic changes stay traceable, and mobile apps can reuse the same endpoints without duplicating core algorithms.
