Why Odoo?
Odoo is a modular open-source ERP/CRM that covers all business processes: sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, accounting, HR, and more. Unlike SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo is significantly more affordable and flexible.
The Community version is free to use. The Enterprise versionoffers additional modules (e.g. full accounting, MRP), better mobile apps, and official support. For most SMEs, Enterprise is the better choice.
What Drives the Costs?
The biggest cost factors in Odoo projects are:
- Number of modules: Each module needs to be configured and trained
- Customization: Adjustments to your processes (workflows, reports)
- Data migration: Transfer of master data and history
