Software is rarely self-interest, but is used as a useful tool in concrete, defined tasks. This specified application or problem area is referred to as user domain. These user domains, also referred to as problem domains, define the frame in which the tasks to be handled by a software are located. In the development approach of the domain-driven design, attempts are made to image an application or specialist area and the processes arising therein as accurately as possible in order to be able to convert this image into a computer program.
